Karachi University: Four things that no other place in Pakistan offers

Written By Warisha Khan

Department Philosophy

There are a few features that distinguish Karachi University from all other Pakistani universities; Features that have come to represent the University over time

The University of Karachi has consistently ranked first despite widespread criticism over the years. Despite the desire of other public and private colleges to compete with KU, none of them have been able to sustain the prominence that KU presently holds. It is an educational institution in and of itself, one that brings together people from various spheres of society for the common goal of receiving an education. The largest student population in Pakistan may be found among the students of KU. Students from KU are able to secure work overseas far more readily than students from other expensive and prestigious colleges because the university's degrees are widely recognized worldwide. However, KU also distinguishes itself from other universities in numerous ways. Whether for or against KU, they have long increased its visibility.

  • University of Karachi Points:

Without a doubt, the points of KU qualify as the eighth wonder in the world. There must not be a single eye that does not see the state of the university's buses as they travel the city, I wager. The green, windowless buses often referred to as funeral buses have the enchanted ability to hold as much as they desire. The conductor manages to create a shield out of his hands for those who are hanging at the edge while doing the social service of allowing all the students who are on the road reach the point.
After traveling in this enchanted vehicle several times, I've concluded that the finest means of death for asthmatics is the KU bus. There is hardly any room left between the bodies and heads of the students for oxygen to get through and aid in breathing. Whatever the case, these powerful rides have consistently served as a tribute to KU. No one may criticize KU without first discussing the purpose and circumstances of its argument

  • Instructors at Karachi University:

One of Pakistan's oldest and biggest universities, Karachi University features a broad group of instructors with a range of academic specialties. These instructors are dedicated to giving students an outstanding schooling and are extremely skilled and knowledgeable in their disciplines.
The faculty of instructors at Karachi University is renowned for its commitment to both teaching and research, and many of its instructors have written papers and books in their fields of specialization. They participate in conferences and seminars to share their research and knowledge with others, and they are also actively involved in the academic community on a national and international level. They put a lot of effort into fostering a welcoming and inclusive learning atmosphere, and they are constantly available to their pupils for advice.

Overall, instructors of Karachi University is vital to the success of the institution and is responsible for molding the minds of future leaders, thinkers, and innovators.

  • Exceptional architecture

Yes, it is correct. Some of KU's departments have been built with excellent architecture that they can compete globally. No university, I suppose, would be able to offer the evening view that UBIT creates at the time of sunset. Without a sure, it is among the most beautifully designed and lovely structures I have ever seen. It is a true haven of serenity due to the windy, lush green garden that is removed from the city's noise and activity.
The Mass Communication Department, which is next to it, also features stunning architecture, both inside and out. Its rood is constructed up of a prism, giving it a triangular appearance from the the outside. But from the inside, the glass that was inserted into that horizon causes the triangle to reflect varied tones of sunlight, from dim to dazzling. In addition, the maroon "Research Center of Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan" building appears to be a lovely sight. It is impossible to go past without applauding the beautifully kept structure. The importance of the Department of Genetics and the BBA is comparable, but what sets them apart from other institutions is how completely different they are on the inside. A university rarely has access to such a wide range of architectural styles as KU has. In my perspective, KU is one spot where all of Pakistan's architectural styles may be seen., In my perspective,KU is one location where all of Pakistan's architectural styles can be seen at a glance by just looking at the masterpieces that each one houses.

  • Various Wildlife:

In Karachi, KU is one among those locations where unique animals may be observed around. Despite the fact that students are on campus for around 12 hours every day, the animals have no concerns about starting a family there. The presence of trees and other natural vegetation, which permits these animals to live their lives in freedom, may be the cause. However, occasionally they do show up in the middle of class, making special appearances and thrilling the kids. I have personally seen a variety of snake species walking about freely on the campus, including the extremely rare white snakes and the cobra. A number of species of lovely birds can be seen on the walk from the gate to the department; this is something to be grateful for. It was uncommon to find a free opportunity to experience nature in Pakistan.

  • The best food

We have to acknowledge that this is not a canteen when the institution is a university like KU. It is a well-established and functional food street. We have been led to believe that the the food at KU is captivating by the university cafeterias, chain canteens, dhabas, and tiny restaurants. There is virtually anything that is unavailable at KU, from the delicious garlic chats to the biryanis and burgers, from chana daal to halwa puri, from gola ganda to the creamy faluda. You can get traditional dishes like karahi, naan, and murgh cholay at any of the dhabas.

The finest of all of these are the juice bars located around the University, which make battling the summers simple and provide you an instant energy boost. The food's best feature is how reasonably priced it is. All students can afford the prices because they are so reasonable. This may be one of the causes of the widespread practice of skipping class to visit any of the university's renowned canteens and dhabas.Even strangers have traveled all the way to the campus only to taste those delectable treats, as I have personally witnessed. In fact, KU has created an entire, huge food district inside of it, and I think the food there has much higher taste standards than the food found outside of the university.

In short, inflation means that your money may not be able to buy as much today as it could in the past. Inflation includes simultaneous and continued price increases of many of the things you buy regularly.
